within a prototype's flow, it isn't uncommon for a button within a contain to change the content or state of content within the container.

consider an "edit" button that changes form fields from an inactive to default state. it would be very helpful to be able to position the overlay container to the center of the source's parent, rather than just the source, which is usually a button or link.
